Uses. In addition to providing wet downdraft tables for the collection of aluminum and other potentially hazardous dust, Hastings Air Energy Control also provides dry dust collectors specifically designed for the collection of aluminum dust. When properly used and maintained, the ALH and AL Series of downdraft tables meet NFPA 484 Standard for the Machining and Finishing of Aluminum and the Production and Handling Aluminum Products.

Features. The ALH and AL Series Aluminum-Only Downdraft Tables are complete, self-contained, portable dust collection systems with standard aluminum grating and protective shields. These downdraft tables also feature high-efficiency cartridge filters with the exceptional Vibra-Pulse self-cleaning system.

Typical Processes. Aluminum-Only Downdraft Tables are used for any operations generating aluminum dust, such as sanding, grinding, deburring, and buffing. Industries include manufacturers of aircraft components, electrical and lighting enclosures, and engine parts.
